In school, we learned a lot about the Industrial Era. We have learned nothing about our own era. And yet, when future generations read about us, we will most certainly be known as the Consumerist Era. This is our pathetic attempt to document a change of perspective, a paradigm shift.

Um, sort of bad timing for a spending freeze. Back to school clothes and school supplies. Not to mention it is my birthday.
I have been doing pretty well curbing my consumption of useless items. Baby steps.
Yes, I chose not to participate, but it's always in my mind when I'm shopping now.
